The publishing industry has been in a hustle-and-bustle about e-books since the recession slashed editor and writer jobs down to a minimum. Textbooks and other educational texts, unsurprisingly, are on the crest of the digital book wave, and according to Goodreads’ Otis, digital textbooks only mark the rise of the e-book community.
Healthcare students benefit greatly from this revolution in publication. The healthcare industry revolves around ever-changing information and texts, with massive backpacks full of school texts for the associate degree to the doctoral degree level. Even after the healthcare student graduates, they continue to be influenced heavily by publications, with texts offering the resources needed to stay up-to-date with an evolving career.
